This illustration was created as part of a series exploring classic popular genres. The objective of this project was two-fold. First, to capture in a single image the excitement and action of the popular space battle themes frequently found in motion pictures and video games. Secondly and most importantly, the illustration was designed to communicate highly charged activities "at a glance".
