This group of images shows the basic 3-step process of re-interpretation.
1. (Top left) The original sketch created during my high school years.
2. (Bottom left) A reworked 3-dimensional line drawing of the original design. Slight proportional adjustments were made to the muzzle assembly on the front of the aliens rocket cycle.
